My New Years goal over all is to make better food choices for my family, smoothies are a fantastic way to combine all their favorite flavors in an easy and portable snack. I chose some nutrient rich options to blend together to create this yummy Peanut Butter Banana Smoothie– Peanut Butter, Banana, and Vanilla! Jif Peanut Powder is made from just one ingredient- peanuts!!! It is a great option for smoothies- 85% less fat than traditional peanut butter, only 1g of sugar, 8g of protein, and the great taste of Jif!
Peanut Butter & Banana Smoothie
3 T. Jif Peanut Powder
1 cup unsweetened vanilla Silk Almond Milk
1/2 banana- frozen, if desired.
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Combine all ingredients in blender and process until smooth.
If you freeze your banana or keep cubes of almond milk frozen to use you will end up with a colder, creamier smoothie.
